I called Johnson Towing after experiencing a problem with my car in Lowe's parking lot. After an exchange of information he gave me a time of arrival. He was there promptly on time, was very courteous and had my car on his truck quickly. He offered to drive me back to town with the car but my wife was already on her way. He let me sit inside the truck to get out of the cold while I waited for my wife to arrive. Their service is top notch.

I locked my keys in my car while grocery shopping for someone. So obviously I was in a panic to get my keys and deliver the groceries. I had absolutely no money in my bank account and foolishly I assumed the locksmith would take my information and give me a bill. I had intended to call my grandma and borrow some money. But who knows how long that would've taken. So instead of wasting both my time and the locksmiths time, I intended to explain that and give him whatever information he needed from me for the time being. After he retrieved my keys and asked for a payment, I said I did not have that money and asked if I could give him my information. He immediately started berating me and speaking to me in such an inappropriate manner. I tried to compose myself and ask him if I could give him a partial payment. I even offered to give him my debit card as collateral! Either way, I could not fully get in a word over this man pressing that "this is how this works" and "I don't know why people call for a service when they don't have the money". If he had let me talk, instead of speaking to me like I was a child, he would've found out that he COULD HAVE had his money, it would just take a second. I was so shocked at his immediate loss in temperament and genuinely uncomfortable because I was in an extremely vulnerable position, that I found it nearly impossible to stand up for myself. I just quickly took my apartment key off my car keys and told him to lock my keys back in my car. I was willing to do whatever necessary to get that man away from me. I was happy to walk 2 miles to my apartment and back to Aldi and deliver groceries 1.5 hours late rather than deal with a grown man speaking to me in such a degrading manner. I've worked in customer service since I was 16, thats 6 years of knowing that you NEVER take your frustration out on a customer. No matter what the issue is, there is almost always a solution. So, Midstate Lock, thank you for wasting both of our time and missing out on actual income by acting like a child. Never have I ever been treated so poorly in a situation that I obviously had no way of preparing for. One would think that a locksmith would encounter this often enough to have the proper means to handle it.

Quick, helpful service with quality products. They have plexiglass set up for safety, all customers were wearing masks although the employee was not.

Great to buy locally because you get the service after the sale if needed. Chris and his helper were very careful and considerate when they delivered and installed my last purchase.
